The Challenge of Letting Go and Moving Forward
The Challenge of Letting Go and Moving Forward
How hard is it not to think about a person? Not really hard if you've never had an emotional connection with that person. However, if that person is someone you've spent hours thinking about or the one who entered your life, reshaped your thinking, and then left for good, it becomes much harder.
"Before meeting her, I was a philistine. With her, I became a connoisseur. After she left, I turned into a poet."
Doesn't it seem incredibly tough? You try your best not to think about her, yet the more you try, the more you fail. The constant lingering of her thoughts keeps your mind occupied.
So, how do you pull yourself out of that? That's the neat part, you don't. Different people have different methods to deal with heartbreak or breakup. Some use it as fuel to become better at life, while some are just stuck, unable to move forward because the other person didn't reciprocate the same feelings.
I am surely the latter type. But no matter how stuck you feel, you have to move on from that phase
things aren't forgotten in a moment. It takes absolutely takes TIME. Give yourself that time, heal, learn, and improve. Everything in this world is an opportunity to learn, so why waste such a cannon event of our lives?
You can never fully pull those thoughts out of your mind you can only bury them deep in your heart. Sooner or later, that thought will make a grand entrance. You might start weeping and reliving the "why did this happen to me" phase, but that's when you need to be strong. If you won't fight back and tell yourself:
"Jo bhi hota hai woh uski Raza hai, Tere liye koi aur likha hai, aur mere liye koi aur likha hai. - fotty seven lines"
Accepting and acknowledging can be done only by the bravest of hearts. So fight back and always remember: "You have no enemies." Grace the fight with your beautiful smile. 😊
